I have been asked to paint on a bunker at a local festival called Blissfields, kindly the event host who has bought my paintings in the past has offered me this. The bunker used to be the place of experiments somewhat like Area 51. so instantly little green men and the C.I.A. pop to mind in this media culture. but the term Alien just means something different so this is my first experiment using the imagery that i have collected as a reference point and then freehanding my texts into images and mixing contemporary issues. Such as UK Independence Party and there veiw on Europe and migrants

Stuck in our ways/ Agnosticism

Stuck in our ways/Agnosticism- all ideologies. Theologies and Atheism are flawed in essence because they struggle to adopt change. granted It is not impossible, but these allow a comfort zone, making it easier to stay in a rut if you take a narrow singularly focused approach/ take things literally/ rely on a current undisputed fact, this removes common sense. Nothing is certain because its the work from the mind of a mixed up ape.

With this piece I have used consumable substances and 

Multiple pillbox dividers to make a Mayan influenced nod towards the influence

of the Americas role in the environment that has been the origin of various types of drug; and of course the Sugar Cane, There are small haribo gummy bears of all colours placed around the pyramid

being a reference to the Class System control over people of all orientations

Through the Drug war. 

Using Domestic taboo items to create something that reflects

 a message that is going to affect everyone on their own personal level

and mostly from friends, students and lecturers I have received comforting comments and constructive criticism on how to direct my tangent rich thought patterns, as well as useful  research material, i had already been influenced by Ai Weiwei's sunflower Pile, Damien Hirst's Pile of sweets and Medicine Cabinet, The Chapman Brothers Hell works; through displaying this publicly i have come into contact with Felix Gonzalez-Torres's work.

The height of the Plyth being designed to be level with a child 

is me asking a question to the viewer asking them if marketing drugs

to minors is the same as marketing sugary treats.
